CARSON, Calif. -- The LA Galaxy unveiled their 2026 MLS regular-season schedule Thursday, a 34-match slate headlined by a home opener against New York City FC, the unveiling of a Cobi Jones statue and the highly anticipated return of midfielder Riqui Puig.

The season kicks off at home against New York City FC on Sunday, Feb. 22. However, the early season highlights are two major tributes to Galaxy icons.

On Saturday, April 4, the club will host a Landon Donovan Celebration when Minnesota United visits, coinciding with the release of the legend's new memoir.

Later that month, on Sunday, April 26, a permanent piece of club history will be unveiled as Cobi Jones becomes the third Galaxy legend immortalized with a statue in Legends Plaza ahead of the match against Real Salt Lake.

The season's most anticipated home fixture, El Tráfico against rivals LAFC, is set for Friday, July 17 at Dignity Health Sports Park. The return match will be in the season's final stretch on Sunday, October 25 at BMO Stadium.

The home slate also features popular theme nights, including Star Wars™ Night on Saturday, May 23 against Houston, Harry Potter Night on Saturday, Sep. 12 against Seattle, and Marvel Night on Saturday, Oct. 17 against San Diego FC.

The league calendar is notably designed around an extended break from May-July for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be hosted across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

The Galaxy will also compete in the 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup, with fixture details to be confirmed after the Dec. 9 draw.

Single-game tickets for all 2026 home matches will be available to the public starting Dec. 4 at 10 a.m. PT.
