San Diego State heads to the blue turf to take on No. 15 Boise State and the Broncos prolific rushing attack in a match up of two of the three remaining unbeaten teams in the Mountain West Conference at 5 p.m. on Friday night at Albertsons Stadium.

The Aztecs (3-4, 2-0 Mountain West) let a second half lead slip in a 29-26 loss to the Washington State Cougars last Saturday in what was the Scarlet and Black's fourth straight game decided by three points or fewer - the longest such streak in the program's DI history and in Mountain West Conference history. National sack leader edge rusher Trey White (11.5 sacks) faces a Boise State offensive line that has allowed just six sacks this season, while running back Marquez Cooper is coming of his 13th multiple-touchdown game of his career.

Boise State (6-1, 3-0) notched a 29-24 road win before the largest crowd ever at UNLV last Friday, and have only been knocked off by current national No. 1 Oregon as they lost 37-34 on the road on Sept. 7. Running back Ashton Jeanty is a Heisman Trophy candidate, leading the nation in rushing (1,376 yards), yards after contact (1,020) and is tied for the lead in total touchdowns (19). The Broncos offense is fourth nationally, averaging 504.6 yards per game and has turned the ball over only four times, while ranking 7th nationally in sacks allowed per game (0.86) and 14th in tackles for loss allowed (3.71).

SDSU outgained the Broncos 439-403 in last season's 34-31 loss at Snapdragon Stadium and last beat the Broncos at Albertsons Stadium in 2018, notching a 19-13 win on the strength of 154-51 advantage in rushing yards. It's the fifth time that one of the two teams have been ranked entering the contest, with the ranked team holding a 3-1 advantage and a 2-1 mark at home - the lone loss came in 2012 when the Aztecs toppled Boise State on the road. The Broncos are attempting to become the first team to win three consecutive times in the series, which began in 2011.
