Dodgers reveal 2025 World Series roster (Los Angeles Dodgers)

LOS ANGELES, CA – The Los Angeles Dodgers announced their 26-man roster for the 2025 World Series, which begins tonight vs. the Toronto Blue Jays at Rogers Centre. First pitch is scheduled for 8:08 p.m. ET.

The Dodgers roster features 12 pitchers and 14 position players. The roster is as follows: 

Pitchers: LHP Anthony Banda, LHP Jack Dreyer, RHP Tyler Glasnow, RHP Edgardo Henriquez, LHP Clayton Kershaw, RHP Will Klein, RHP Roki Sasaki, RHP Emmet Sheehan, LHP Blake Snell, RHP Blake Treinen, LHP Justin Wrobleski, RHP Yoshinobu Yamamoto. 

Position Players: SS Mookie Betts, OF Alex Call. OF Justin Dean, IF/OF Tommy Edman, 1B Freddie Freeman, IF/OF Kiké Hernández, OF Teoscar Hernández, IF/OF Hyeseong Kim, 3B Max Muncy, DH/P Shohei Ohtani, OF Andy Pages, IF Miguel Rojas, C Ben Rortvedt, C Will Smith. 

What to Know Before Game One: 

- The 2025 World Series marks the 121st Fall Classic in MLB history. 

- This will be the first time the Los Angeles Dodgers and Toronto Blue Jays face off in the Fall Classic. 

- The Dodgers are chasing history as they will look to become the first team since the New York Yankees (1998 and 1999) to repeat as World Series Champions. 

- The Blue Jays are looking for their first World Series title since they went back-to-back in 1992 and 1993. 

Matchup in Game One: 

In Game One at the Rogers Centre, Los Angeles will send out southpaw Blake Snell to open up the Fall Classic. In three starts thus far this postseason, the two-time Cy Young Award winner has a 0.86 ERA and a 65% whiff rate on his changeup, which ranks fifth on the highest whiff rate on a single pitch in postseason history since 2008. 

The Blue Jays will send out 22-year-old Trey Yesavage to match up against a hefty Dodgers lineup. With Yesavage stepping on the mound tonight, he will become the second youngest Game One starter in World Series history. Yesavage has a 2-1 record and a 4.20 ERA in 15 innings pitched this postseason.
