LOS ANGELES — Yahoo Sports and The Sporting Tribune entered a new content partnership Wednesday that will expand coverage of sports in Southern California, Las Vegas and Hawai‘i to a global audience.
The collaboration will feature original reporting, photos, videos, podcasts and multimedia storytelling produced by The Sporting Tribune and distributed across Yahoo Sports’ digital platforms. The partnership combines Yahoo’s global reach with The Sporting Tribune’s deep local expertise and on-the-ground access to athletes, teams and events throughout the region. The Sporting Tribune will create regular columns, features, podcasts and video content that will appear on both outlets.
The Sporting Tribune Today also announced Wednesday that their syndicated radio show and podcast, "The Sporting Tribune Today," which airs every weeknight in Southern California, Las Vegas and Hawaii has joined Westwood One Sports. The partnership brings the brand’s daily coverage and interviews with athletes, coaches and media figures to an even wider audience through streaming and broadcast channels.
Cumulus Media’s Westwood One and Audacy announced Wednesday that the Infinity Sports Network will be rebranded as Westwood One Sports, effective December 29, 2025. This strategic move solidifies both companies as recognized leaders in national sports audio. Westwood One Sports’ 24/7 network will continue to deliver unmatched live coverage, expert commentary, and real-time sports programming to millions of listeners nationwide. This extends a partnership between Westwood One and Audacy that began with the launch of CBS Sports Radio in 2012.
Founded in 2022, The Sporting Tribune has quickly built a presence across multiple sports and markets, including year-round coverage of every professional and major college sports program in Southern California, Las Vegas and Hawai'i. Over the next four years the region will be host the World Cup, Summer Olympics, Super Bowl, World Series, NBA All-Star Game, NBA Cup, College Football Playoff National Championship, NCAA Division 1 Men's Final Four, WWE Survivor Series, WrestleMania and other major events in horse racing, golf, boxing and mixed martial arts.
