LOS ANGELES -- The Los Angeles Dodgers have activated catcher Dalton Rushing from the injured list and optioned catcher Chuckie Robinson prior to Tuesday afternoon's game against the Philadelphia Phillies.

Rushing, 24, missed nine games recovering from a shin injury after he fouled off a pitch that made direct contact with the top of his shin on September 6. In 2025, he is batting .190 with three homers and 21 RBI in 45 games for Los Angeles.

The 24-year-old catcher was put on rehab assignments last week with the OKC Comets and played in four games. Rushing did not miss a step as he went 4-for-11 with five walks and two RBI and started two of the four games behind the dish.

Robinson, 30, made his Dodgers debut last night, going 0-for-1 with a run scored. Originally, Robinson was the corresponding move that the Dodgers announced when they placed Rushing on the injured list, but he only had a short stint in that appearance before being called up again for an ailing Will Smith on September 13.

He has played in 47 games for the Triple-A Oklahoma City Comets, batting .259 with four homers and 28 RBI. He made his Major League debut in 2022 with the Cincinnati Reds, playing 25 games and clubbing two homers and driving in five. Before coming to the Dodgers, he was in the Majors parts of two seasons with the Reds and Chicago White Sox (2024), slashing .132/.170/.194 with two doubles and two homers.
