LOS ANGELES -- A second move for the Dodgers today as Los Angeles signs right-hander Chris Stratton and adds him to the active roster. In order to make room on the roster, the Dodgers designated right-handed pitcher Ryan Loutos.

Stratton, 34, rejoins the Dodgers after being designated for assignment on June 2. He made two appearances for Los Angeles, allowing two runs in three innings with five strikeouts. He made 12 appearances for Kansas City before joining L.A., allowing 15 earned runs in 17 innings. He had been with the Royals two seasons, going 4-3 with a 6.09 ERA and 60 strikeouts. The 2023 World Series Champion has been in the Majors 10 seasons with the San Francisco Giants, Los Angeles Angels, Pittsburgh Pirates, St. Louis Cardinals, Texas Rangers and Royals, going 41-27 with a 4.63 ERA in 373 games.
Loutos, 26, pitched in two games during his Dodgers tenure, allowing five runs in three innings. He has pitched 5.1 innings in his career, allowing five runs on six hits with two strikeouts. Loutos is expected to report to Triple-A before being called up.
