Robinson, 30, was designated for assignment on Wednesday by the Angels and was batting .272 with one homer and 18 RBI with Triple-A Salt Lake City. He made his Major League debut in 2022 with the Cincinnati Reds, playing 25 games and clubbing two homers and driving in five. He has been in the Majors parts of two seasons with the Reds and the Chicago White Sox in 2024 and slashed .132/.170/.194 with two doubles and two homers.
Glasnow was first placed on the 15-day injured list back on April 28 with right shoulder inflammation. With the move to the 60-day IL, he is now eligible to return on Friday, June 27. The 31-year-old is still a long way from returning, but he began his throwing program last week and is still on track for his return. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts was especially positive about the beginnings of Glasnow's throwing program.
“He said he felt great afterwards,” Roberts said. “Don’t know what that means with velocity. But I do know he was getting after it pretty good.”
