LOS ANGELES -- USC Head Football Coach Lincoln Riley announced Tuesday that the football program will be parting ways with Director of Football Sports Performance Bennie Wylie.
Wylie followed Riley to USC from Oklahoma, where he served in the same role from 2018-2021. He was previously a strength and conditioning coach at Texas, Texas Tech, and Tennessee.
In a statement Tuesday, head coach Lincoln Riley said “We are grateful for the many contributions Coach Wylie has made to our program throughout the last three seasons. He has been an outstanding role model to our young men."
“This is a difficult decision," he continued, "but we are committed to positioning our football program to compete for national championships as we continue to move forward into the 2025 season and beyond.”
