LAS VEGAS -- The Vegas Golden Knights play the second game out of a best-of-7 series tonight as they continue their first-round playoff series vs the Minnesota Wild. The Golden Knights puck drop is taking place at 8:00 pm tonight, with WWE happening on Monday evening inside T-Mobile Arena. The game will start one hour later than normal.

Knights last game

On Sunday, Vegas took a 1-0 series lead as they beat the Wild, 4-2. Tomas Hertl scored the first goal in the opening period, but then entered the first intermission with the game tied, as Matt Boldy, on the Wild, tied it, making it 1-1. Pavel Dorofeyev would score the only goal in the second period, making it 2-1 heading into the third period. Now in the third period, Brett Howden would make it 3-1, Matt Boldy would score another to pull one back, making it a 3-2 game. Then, with the net being empty, Howden was able to find the net with only .1 second left on the clock to seal the 4-2 win.

Vegas has yet to record a loss in the second game of an opening Stanley Cup Playoffs series, owning a 6-0-0 record.

The Golden Knights have the third-longest streak in NHL history with 39 straight playoff games won when three or more goals are scored.

Shea Theodore recorded his 48th assist in game 1 on Sunday, tying Reilly Smith for most in franchise history.
