The Golden Knights play the Blackhawks at the United Center on Friday evening in their first back-to-back game, which takes place at 5:30 PT. The Golden Knights' record at the United Center is 6-1-2, and winning tonight would give the Golden Knights a 15-3-3 record against Chicago.
In his last game, Jack Eichel recorded his fifth career hat trick against the Minnesota Wild in their game on Tuesday, meaning that the franchise high for the most hat tricks has been reached for the fifth time, as this season marks a franchise high in that regard.
Shea Theodore played his 500th game as a Golden Knights player last time out against the Wild on Tuesday Night, continuing his streak as 4th most of all time, right behind Jonathan Marchessault, who has 514.
The Golden Knights hold a record of 27-8-4 against Western Conference teams and a 12-4-3 record against the Central Division.
Opposition Update
The Blackhawks played on Wednesday against the Devils and were defeated by New Jersey with a final score of 5-3.
Chicago has lost each of their last seven night games. Second-year man Connor Bedard has 20 goals and a team-high 36 assists, while Nick Foligno has added 29 points with 12 goals and 17 assists so far this season.
Connor Bedard has scored a goal in four of the Blackhawks' last five home games. He has been on some tear since coming into the league, and surely will be a player that will be on the rise for years to come in the NHL.
Season Series
This is the third meeting between these two franchises, and the first two games were split. The Blackhawks got the better of Vegas in the first meeting, winning 5-3, back on the 18th of January. The goals in that period all came from Keegan Kolesar, Nicolas Hague, Barbashev, Tomas Hertl, and Pavel Dorofeyev.

Keys to Tonight's Game
With 11 games left in this regular season, the Golden Knights need to continue their dominance by scoring first and being able to limit the penalties to give to the other team. With only one power play in the game against Minnesota, limiting the time they go into the box is vital towards being able to win, and also limit the opposition of having chances to score.
