Here are some takeaways from the Clippers win over the Heat:
Bogdanovic the dominant
Bogdan Bogdanovic had the hot hands for the Clippers in the win over the Heat.
With star forward sitting out the second night of a back-to-back Los Angeles needed someone to step up.
Bogdanovic was the guy!
He scored 30 points shooting 11-for-16 while making 4-of-7 3s.
Bogdanovic scored 11 of his 30 points in the final period to help the Clippers pull away from the Heat.
He was also big on the boards for the Clippers as he brought down 11 rebounds in the game.
Oops he did it again
Ivica Zubac continues to be most consistent player on the Clippers roster with his play.
He has now extended his double-double streak to a career-high 10 straight games.
Zubac scored 26 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in the win.
Once again he was a key component to successful play for Los Angeles.
Zubac’s play has the Clippers playing some good basketball as of late and for the team to continue to see success he will be an important piece.
The Clips bounce back
The Clippers came into this game 2-7 in their previous road games which included yesterday’s 127-120 loss to the New Orleans Pelicans.
The team has won three straight games before the loss.
Los Angeles were favorites to win that game but came up short.
The matchup looked to be just as tough especially without Kawhi Leonard.
The team responded with one of their better road games in recent memory.
Los Angeles jumped out early outscoring the Heat 30-20 in the first quarter and never let up.
Team defense helped slow down Heat’s star player Bam Adebayo and four players scored in double figures to help secure the win.
