Philadelphia's Trea Turner hit a grand slam and led a hit parade that helped the Phillies trounce the Dodgers in a 10-1 victory on Tuesday night at Citizens Bank Park.
Dodgers starter Bobby Miller got into early trouble and the Phillies took advantage of those mistakes. Miller went 4 innings, giving up 10 hits and three walks.
The Phillies scored three runs in the second and six runs in the fourth — all earned runs by Miller.
The Dodgers combined to go 0 for 11 with runners in scoring position and left 12 men on base.
Austin Barnes and Will Smith were the Dodgers to have a multi-hit game and the Nos. 4-8 hitters combined for one hit.
The Dodgers are now 55-37 and in first place in the National League West.
Here are the takeaways:
Miller’s woes continue
Miller has not been the same since returning from a right shoulder injury that sidelined him for most of the season's first months. While he has said that these outings still feel like spring training to him, he has given up an insane 26 earned runs over 23 innings during his last six starts.

The most concerning part is the 17 walks to 16 strikeouts, which shows his location is scattered. Even when Miller does find the zone, he is leaving it over the middle of the plate and opposing hitters have just not been fooled at all.
Glasnow heads to IL
Another Dodgers pitcher has hit the injured list. This time, it is one of their best arms in Tyler Glasnow.
The team is calling it back tightness that arose Sunday and manager Dave Roberts said that it shouldn’t keep him out after the All-Star break.
While that is good news, anything dealing with a back issue should not be taken lightly, especially for a pitcher with the stature of Glasnow (8-5, 3.47 ERA).

He had not been pitching up to his potential lately, giving up five earned runs in his last outing.
Dodgers’ outlook uncertain
Since May 15th, the Dodgers are 26-21. While their division lead has either stayed the same or increased slightly, the process is not going well.
Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Shohei Ohtani, Clayton Kershaw, Walker Buehler and Glasnow are either injured or rehabbing currently, with Dustin May, Tony Gonsolin and Emmet Sheehan right behind them.
That is one of the best injured rotations you will find across the league.

Also, Gavin Lux has the worst OPS out of any batter with at least 260 plate appearances, Kiké Hernandez has been under .200 for the season and the Cavan Biggio (.197, 11 RBIs) experiment has been a disaster.
The Dodgers will look to even up the series as they send right-hander Gavin Stone (9-2, 3.03 ERA) to face Phillies left-hander Cristopher Sanchez (6-4, 2.96) at 4:05 p.m. Wednesday.
