Brie Garcia on life before and after the ring (Combat)

LOS ANGELES -- WWE Hall of Famer and TV personality Brie Garcia hosted the 2024 All Stars Championship Tournament for Candy Crush in Los Angeles. The top 10 players from around the world competed in the finals for the chance to win the largest prize. Finalists competed for a share of the $1M prize pool and a custom championship ring designed by celebrity jeweler Icebox.

Garcia spoke with The Sporting Tribune ahead of the tournament for Candy Crush and also shares on how she became a WWE Hall of Famer.

It has been almost 17 years since Garcia and her twin sister, Nikki Garcia, made their WWE debut. However, at 40 years old, Garcia is starting a new chapter in her life.

Garcia has experienced great success throughout her career. She starred in two highly successful reality TV shows, which paved the way for women's wrestling, and became a New York Times Best-Selling Author.

A raw, honest, and revealing co-memoir by Brie and Nikki Bella, titled "Incomparable" is one of her proudest achievements.

The journey to the WWE started when Garcia worked at Hooters, making it an interesting story.

While working at Hooters, they would always play the WWE pay-per-views throughout the restaurant. This caught her eye and sparked her interest in joining the WWE. She was familiar with wrestling because her younger brother was a huge fan, and she would often end up on the receiving end of 'The Rock Bottom' from her brother when they played around as kids.

"I just remember thinking this is really up in Nikki and I alley, it just felt like the first thing I connect too on what I wanted to do in life." Garcia told The Sporting Tribune.

The Garcia twins grew up playing soccer as they were very competitive and loved entertaining people, especially during their family parties on the weekends. Their parents always hosted boxing parties, and during intermissions, the Garcia twins would dress up as the Spice Girls and lip sync in front of the crowd. Bri always dressed up as Posh she said.

The transformation from portraying Posh Spice to embodying Brie Bella, a WWE Hall of Famer, was truly remarkable. She was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2021.

She hosts her own podcast with her sister called The Nikki & Brie Show. It's one of the top podcasts, and you can catch it every Monday and Wednesday. Brie will keep it real about being a mom, life as an entrepreneur, and a reality star.
