CARSON, Calif. -- The LA Galaxy return to Dignity Health Sports Park to host Minnesota United in the Western Conference Semifinals, with the winner set to face the Seattle Sounders, who took down LAFC Saturday evening.
The Galaxy have been inactive the last three weeks after sweeping the Colorado Rapids in the first round Best-of-3 series, outscoring the Rapids 9-1 over the course of 180 minutes. Minnesota advanced to the semis after a sweep of Real Salt Lake, with both wins coming down to penalty kicks.
