LOS ANGELES -- Caitlin Clark had a rough night in her return Wednesday night, as the Los Angeles Sparks took down the Indiana Fever, 106-92. Clark went 4 for 12 from the field, while going 1 for 6 from beyond the arc. She had missed the previous two games with a back injury.
13,000 fans filled Crypto.Com Arena for the matchup, many of which came to see Clark exclusively. Some coming from across the country and the world to see one of the biggest stars in WNBA history.
We talked to some fans about why they love Clark so much, and to Clark herself about all the controversies which seemingly surround her. Early on Wednesday some Republican members of congress called for the WNBA to do more to protect on what they call "attacks" on the superstar.
