LAFC teams up with legendary Los Angeles artist Mister Cartoon for exclusive merchandise collection ahead of Galaxy rivalry match taken in Los Angeles (LAFC)

LOS ANGELES — Los Angeles Football Club is bringing together soccer, art and the city's rich cultural heritage with an exclusive merchandise collaboration featuring legendary Los Angeles artist Mister Cartoon.

The club announced the launch of its limited-edition "Fine Line" collection, which celebrates the intersection of soccer culture and the distinctive Chicano art and streetwear traditions that have helped define Los Angeles for generations.

The collection, which goes on sale Friday, Oct. 23, arrives just in time for LAFC's highly anticipated rivalry showdown against the LA Galaxy this weekend, adding another layer of excitement to one of Major League Soccer's most passionate rivalries.

At the center of the collaboration is the debut of the first-ever LAFC clown mask, featuring Mister Cartoon's signature fine-line tattoo style and trademark lowrider pinstriping. The design draws heavily from classic Chicano-Los Angeles aesthetics, blending the artist's unmistakable visual identity with the Black & Gold's branding.

The limited-edition collection also includes a premium hoodie, New Era snapback hat, scarf and collectible patch. Fans will also be able to purchase custom name and number heat-transfer applications for official LAFC jerseys, along with player-specific T-shirts featuring three of the club's biggest stars: Son Heung-Min, Denis Bouanga and Hugo Lloris.

For LAFC, the collaboration represents another opportunity to strengthen its connection with the diverse communities and cultural influences that make Los Angeles one of the world's most recognizable cities.

Since joining MLS in 2018, LAFC has embraced the city's art, music, fashion and entertainment communities as essential parts of its identity. The club has consistently sought to establish itself as more than a soccer team, building a brand that reflects the creativity and cultural diversity of Los Angeles.

Few artists embody that identity quite like Mister Cartoon.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Mister Cartoon has become one of the most influential figures in contemporary tattoo art and street culture. His intricate black-and-gray tattoo designs, distinctive lettering and lowrider-inspired artwork have earned him international recognition, with his work extending into fashion, music and collaborations with some of the world's most recognizable brands.

His artistic style has long been associated with the Chicano culture of Southern California, making the partnership with LAFC a natural fit for a club that has built much of its identity around the communities and traditions of its hometown.

The timing of the release also connects two defining elements of Los Angeles culture: its growing passion for soccer and its longstanding influence on global streetwear and art.

With LAFC preparing to face the Galaxy in another installment of El Tráfico, the collaboration gives supporters an opportunity to showcase their allegiance through designs rooted in the city's artistic heritage.

The LAFC x Mister Cartoon "Fine Line" collection will be available beginning Friday, Oct. 23, online at MLSstore.com and Toonsmart.co, as well as in person at LAFC HQ at BMO Stadium.

The collection will be offered as a limited-edition release, bringing together one of Los Angeles' most recognizable sports brands and one of its most influential artists ahead of one of the biggest matches on the city's soccer calendar.
