First Pick: Detroit Red Wings Moneyline

Rundown: The Los Angeles Kings (21-16-13) travel to the Motor City to take on the Detroit Red Wings (32-16-5) in a cross-conference battle at Little Caesars Arena.

Los Angeles enters the contest looking to build on a two-game win streak, which consists of back-to-back one goal victories over the Rangers and Blues. The Kings offensive attack, which ranks near the bottom of the NHL in goals per game (2.60), has generated consistent chances at the net -- scoring nine goals across the brief winning stretch. Adrian Kempe has led the way for LA, leading the team with 39 points this season.

On the other end, Detroit has proven to be a contender in the Eastern Conference with 69 points through 53 games. The Red Wings come into Tuesday sitting one point shy of the lead in the Atlantic Division. The success has come from the defensive end, as Detroit ranks inside the top ten in goals allowed per game (2.96) this season. The Red Wings have been prolific on home ice, owning a 18-8-1 record behind the Detroit faithful.

With Detroit's home-ice edge and high-powered offense, expect the Red Wings to add another home win to the season total.

Second Pick: Over 6.5 Goals

Rundown: The Vegas Golden Knights (25-14-12) conclude a four-game road trip as they clash with the Montreal Canadiens at Bell Centre.

Vegas enters the matchup looking to bounce back after a 7-1 beatdown by Ottawa while Montreal looks to get back on track after consecutive losses to Buffalo and Boston. The Golden Knights remain tied in first place with the Edmonton Oilers in a jam-packed Pacific Division.

The offensive attacks have created plenty of opportunities this season as Montreal ranks fifth in the NHL in goals per game while Vegas sits just below at sixth in the league. Vegas has seen help from special teams, ranking fifth in power-play conversion rate (26.0%) this season.

With two offensive units that create plenty of chances near the net, look out for a high-scoring affair between two playoff hopefuls.
