"Means the world!" Brink told John W. Davis of the Southern California News Group about coming back. "I'm just very excited. Very humbled by this experience. It's no easy thing to come back from. Just very excited."

When Sparks coach Lynne Roberts was asked if Brink will play on Tuesday, she answered, "That's the rumor!" When asked if she can confirm, Roberts said, "From what I've been told, she will play."
Roberts was then asked what Brink could bring to the table offensively and if she will be limited on minutes.
"I think her biggest strength is her versatility," Roberts said. "But it's so hard for an athlete to be out that long. And be right where they left off. So I think my biggest concern is Cam's grace with herself. She's an elite athlete. All these guys expect to be great all the time. And she might come out and drop 20 tomorrow, I don't know.
"But I don't want her to put pressure on herself," Roberts added. "It's going to take her, just like what I was saying about Rae (Burrell): it takes a while to get your sea legs back. So not only has she been out, she's coming off of a mental, mind game injury. She needs to come in and take that first hit and realize, I'm all right. But minutes restriction, I haven't talked to the doctor yet."
Brink averaged 7.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 2.3 blocks per game in 15 contests in her rookie season. She tore her ACL and meniscus on June 18, 2024 against the Sun in Connecticut. She will be joining a Sparks team that has won their last five games. The offense has been humming this month and Brink will be a huge help on the defensive end when she gets on the court.
It's been a long road back and she is now expected to make her sophomore season debut on Tuesday against the Aces.
