Los Angeles Clippers center Ivica Zubac (40) soars for the dunk during an NBA basketball game against the Houston Rockets, Wednesday April 9th, 2025 in Inglewood, California.

INGLEWOOD, Calif. -- The Clippers took care of business yet again on Wednesday on the second night of a back-to-back, 134-117. It was their sixth straight win and 16th out of their last 19 games.

Ivica Zubac picked up his first career triple-double with 20 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists, credited to Bogdan Bodanovic for hitting a three pointer with around one minute left in the game.

Head coach Tyronn Lue kept Zubac in the lineup with the game out of reach and he immediately took advantage. Intuit Dome erupted when the ball fell through for Bogdanovic, a perfect cap on an amazing stretch of basketball at home for the Clippers.

James Harden had the most points he has scored against his former team, the Houston Rockets. Harden scored 35 points and 10 assists on 10-for-18 shooting including 10-for-10 from the free throw line.

Carrying on the torch from the "Big Three," Kawhi Leonard returned to the lineup and had 22 points and 10 rebounds to keep the team afloat throughout the Rockets' surges on the offensive end.

The Rockets were sitting much of their core on Wednesday night, but got great nights out of Reed Sheppard who scored 20 points, Tari Eason who had 17 of his own and Cam Whitmore who had 14 points.

Houston had already clinched the second seed in the Western Conference so it was imperative for the Clippers to have another professional win.

Nicolas Batum had 15 points in 9 minutes but left early with what the team is calling "right groin soreness."

Although it looked bad initially, Batum returned to the bench but was ruled out.

Now, the Clippers will head to Sacramento to face the Kings as the 5 seed in an effort to continue their winning ways. Tipoff on Friday is set for 7:00 PM PT.
