LOS ANGELES -- On early Friday morning, the Dodgers announced the corresponding news to Thursday's announcement of Freddie Freeman's 10-day IL stint by recalling catcher Hunter Feduccia from Triple-A Oklahoma City.
The 27-year-old catcher has played in five games with Triple-A Oklahoma City, batting .357 with a homer and four RBIs. He was drafted in the 12th round out of Louisiana State University in 2018 and in seven minor league seasons with the Dodgers, he is a .268 hitter with 47 homers and 260 RBIs.

Feduccia also has some experience playing first base and the left-handed batter has experience ranging from catcher, first base, and the DH spot.
"I think the bat translates," Manager Dave Roberts said during spring training. "It's a very easy-maintenance swing, low-maintenance swing. He really controls the strike zone. Certainly with our two right-handed catchers, to complement being on the left side of the box is a good thing."

In regards to Freeman, he will miss the entirety of the Dodgers' six-game road trip to Philidelphia and Washington. He is eligeble to return to the Dodgers
