The Golden Knights continue their homestand and play the Winnipeg Jets on Thursday night. Even though they lost to the Edmonton Oilers in their last game on Tuesday, the Golden Knights, with help from other teams, clinched their seventh Stanley Cup playoff appearance in the last eight seasons. Vegas becomes the fourth team in NHL history to achieve that mark.

Since the Four Nations resumption, the Golden Knights at home have won eight and lost two, with those two losses being against the Kings back on the 9th of March and the Oilers beating them last time out on Tuesday.

Head Coach Bruce Cassidy, after the loss on Tuesday, said that even though the team had a good first period, the second frame proved costly for the Golden Knights.

He also mentioned the team's drive to wanting more than what is just a playoff appearance, stating that they're happy they're in but that it is not their ultimate goal, nor should it be.

Opponent's last game

Winnipeg lost to the Los Angeles Kings in their last game, 4-1. Jets center Cole Perfetti scored the lone goal for the Jets on Tuesday night.

Jets come into Tuesday's game leading both the NHL and the Western conference with the best record at 51-20-4.

Kyle Conner leads the Jets with 38 goals and 52 assists. Goaltender Connor Hellebuyck leads the NHL in goals against average (2.02), save percentage (.924), and wins (43).
