WWE’s Tiffany Stratton helps Netflix open new restaurant in Las Vegas taken in Las Vegas (WWE)

LAS VEGAS -- Some of the staff here at The Sporting Tribune have called Las Vegas ‘The Sports Capital of The World’ & by “some of the staff” I mean myself, now of course that is subjective. What isn’t up for debate is that Las Vegas is ‘The Entertainment Capital of The World” and to bring something unique to the Las Vegas Strip is damn near impossible but Netflix has cracked that code. NETFLIX BITES has officially opened up on the casino floor of the MGM Grand as Netflix gets into the culinary business with a full-serviced restaurant.

With Las Vegas as the perfect location, Netflix has found a natural home for its first full-scale dining “residency”. With the Squid Game guards acting as security at the entrance, a WWE themed “SmashBurger”, One Piece boat that is filled with sushi to the  Love Is Blind cocktail which is made based on your chosen flavor profiles but only revealed once it arrives at your table, the restaurant doubles as a perfect place to make your Instagram Stories the talk of your friends while feeling satisfied with the food quality and quantity. Netflix has used the term “residency” to describe Netflix Bites as Netflix did test out a similar “pop-up” dinner service in Los Angeles in 2023 that lasted six weeks. Netflix Bites will also serve breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days per week.

The restaurant is another step into the “Live Experience” business, the company has hosted “experiences” based on shows like Stranger Things, Bridgerton and Squid Game in cities around the world. The residency at one of Las Vegas’ busiest casinos is another move by Netflix to make a footprint. “With Netflix Bites Vegas, we’re taking fan-favorite shows from the screen to the table and turning them into a culinary adventure,” said Josh Simon, vp consumer products for Netflix. “We’re excited to partner with MGM Grand, experts in hospitality and top-notch Vegas entertainment, to offer fans a new way to experience their favorite stories with an invitation to step into the worlds of Stranger Things, Bridgerton, Squid Game, Chef’s Table, Dinner Time Live With David Chang and more, one bite at a time.”

For Wrestling fans the timing of the restaurant couldn’t have come at a better time with less than 75 days away from WrestleMania and Netflix becoming the home of WWE RAW and Premium Live Events internationally. The combination of WrestleMania being in Las Vegas this year and opening of Netflix Bites ensures Netflix’s presence will be felt all throughout the strip in 2025. WWE’s Women Champion Tiffany Stratton was at the opening and spent a few minutes talking to us about winning her first WWE title and so much more.

Lastly, I would like to point out that the best thing on the menu is the Is It (Cheese) Cake?, a treat that plays out perfectly for your Instagram as it plays on the viral sensation of hyper-realistic cakes, and hit Netflix show, making you pick between two dessert dishes where you have to pick and see which is which.
