NEW YORK –– LeBron James scored 33 points, 12 assists and 11 rebounds to lead the Los Angeles Lakers (28-19) to a 128-112 victory over the New York Knicks (32-17) Saturday night before 19,812 at Madison Square Garden.
James scored his 10th triple-double of the season and 122nd of his 20-year career to snap the Knicks five-game winning streak.
Los Angeles shot 47.5 percent from the three-point line, with five players making three 3-pointers.
The Lakers carried a 59-54 lead into the half.
After scoring 13 points, the Knicks lost small forward OG Anunoby after rolling his right foot.
Austin Reaves scored 27 points and six assists, and Rui Hachimura scored 21 for the Lakers.
In his seventh triple-double of the season, Josh Hart scored 26 points, 13 rebounds, and 11 assists. Jalen Brunson scored 17 points, and Mikal Bridges scored 16 points.
