CARSON, Calif. -- The LA Galaxy have announced a sellout for Sunday’s Western Conference Semifinals against Minnesota United FC at Dignity Health Sports Park. The match is scheduled for 3 p.m. and will be broadcast on MLS Season Pass via Apple TV, FS1, and FOX Deportes.
Fans attending Sunday’s match are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy a full slate of pregame activities and entertainment. Stadium gates are scheduled to open at 1:30 p.m. PT, and the first 20,000 fans will receive a playoff rally towel.
Three weeks removed from outscoring the Colorado Rapids 9-1, securing a sweep in the first round Best-of-3 Series, the Galaxy will look to feed off the energy of their supporters as they aim to keep their undefeated streak at home and their title hopes alive.
"It's going to be more about who can manage moments of the game," Galaxy head coach Greg Vanney said about Sunday's semifinal. "The guys have been looking forward to it for a long time, it's just been about managing emotions and the mentality of the group as we worked through the long break."
A victory would send the Galaxy to the Western Conference Final for the first time since 2019, while Minnesota is seeking its first-ever trip to the conference final.
"It's like starting a new preseason," Riqui Puig said in Spanish. Puig also took issue with the scheduling of Sunday's match. "We haven't played at that time all year but, if they want to change things during the most important moment of the season, that's their decision. But to be honest, we are excited and eager to play."
The winner of Sunday’s match will advance to the Western Conference Final, where they will face either LAFC or Seattle Sounders.
