FINAL: Cowboys 27, Raider 12

LAS VEGAS—Saturday was supposed to be a night of clarity for the Raiders. One that could have saw them find a definitive answer in their QB competition. 

At the very least, it was a chance to show the fans that this team is ready for the challenge that lies ahead in the first full season of the Antonio Pierce era. Instead, it felt like a slow night at Allegiant Stadium. Of course, that’s obviously not a great sign considering there were 62,428 fans in attendance for the Raiders' 27-12 loss to the Cowboys in their preseason home opener.
