PASADENA, Calif; - The UCLA Bruins are looking to get back in the win column after losing their second game of the season last week on the road against LSU.
Saturday night's game will be the Bruins' second Big Ten game of the season but they will be against a familiar foe as the Ducks were one of three other teams to join the Bruins in the Big Ten after leaving the PAC-12 last season.
Oregon 3-0 to start the year and will be playing in their first Big Ten game this season after playing three nonconference opponents to start the year.
The Ducks will be led by senior quarterback Dillon Gabriel who transferred from Oklahoma over the offseason. Gabriel has been as great as advertised throwing zero interceptions to begin the year with 914 yards, six touchdowns, and a completion percentage of 84%.
After having offensive struggles over their first two games of the season, the Bruins seemed to have found their stride against LSU last week. Quarterback Ethan Garbers had a career day last week throwing for a career-high 281 yards while also having two touchdowns last week. Linebacker Kain Medrano enters Saturday night as the Big Ten's leader for solo tackles (6).
