Norm Clarke

Norm Clarke is a columnist at The Sporting Tribune. Clarke is returning to his roots with The Sporting Tribune as the legendary Las Vegas columnist reported on sports early in his career, covering various Major League Baseball teams with The Associated Press – including the Cincinnati Reds back-to-back World Series championship teams in 1975 and 1976. His reporting became more specialized in 1984 when he made the move to Denver covering the locale’s bid for a Major League Baseball expansion franchise. He was ultimately responsible for breaking the news revealing the addition of the Colorado Rockies to the National League, and he spent nearly 15 years with the publication. In 1999, Clarke started writing entertainment and gossip news for the Las Vegas Review-Journal, breaking prominent stories such as Britney Spears’ 55-hour marriage.
