MLS Cup to air live on FOX, Fox Deportes and for free on Apple TV

CARSON, Calif. -- When the LA Galaxy defeated the Seattle Sounders last week in the Western Conference Final many casual fans who had not watched a game all season and wanted to watch the game were left in the dark after finding out they not only needed Appl TV but also needed to subscribe to MLS Season Pass for $9.99 in order to watch the game.

That will not be case for anyone that wants to watch the LA Galaxy play the New York Red Bulls in the MLS Cup at Dignity Health Sports Park on Saturday at 1 p.m. PT.

MLS Cup will air for free on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV as well as be broadcast on FOX, FOX Deportes, TSN, and RDS, with coverage beginning at 12:30 p.m. PT.

The English commentary team will be comprised of Jake Zivin, Taylor Twellman, and Jillian Sakovits while the Spanish commentary will include Sammy Sadovnik, Diego Valeri, and Antonella Gonzalez.

The match will also broadcast live in Times Square in the heart of New York City on screens displayed on SILVERCAST Media’s high-definition “Mega-Zilla,” a Times Square spectacular with a 78-foot by 330-foot monster digital TV display. The screen spans an entire city block and is located on Broadway between 45th and 46th Streets. Additionally, a giant 15-foot tall replica of The Philip F. Anschutz Trophy, will be displayed in Times Square.
