Anaheim Ducks goalie Ville Husso (33) attempts to make a stop during an NHL game against the Buffalo Sabres on March 22, 2026 in Anaheim, CA.

The Anaheim Ducks continue their three-game home stand tonight against the Buffalo Sabres at Honda Center.

The Ducks, now 5-6-1, lost an incredibly frustrating game to the Vancouver Canucks on Tuesday night. They once held a 5-2 lead before letting it crumble away in the third period - giving up three straight goals and finally an overtime goal against one of the NHL's worst teams.

Tonight's game is an opportunity to rid themselves of the bad tasting defeat.

Center Leo Carlsson scored once and had an assist in the loss, bringing his season point total to a team-high 15. Beckett Sennecke potted his team-leading seventh goal of the season on Tuesday as well.

Sam Colangelo had two points and two assists while Cutter Gauthier added one assist.

Defenseman Jackson Lacombe racked up three assists on the night, while fellow defenseman Tristan Luneau added one assist of his own.

Offseason additions AJ Greer and Jeff Malott rounded out the Ducks' scoring and combined for three goals and an assist.

The Ducks are led by Lukas Dostal in net. Dostal has a .872 save percentage and is allowing 3.56 goals per game.

The Sabres are 5-4-3 this season and are coming off a 2-0 win on Tuesday against the San Jose Sharks. Jack Quinn leads the team with six goals and 11 points. Defenseman Owen Power also has 11 points for the Sabers, nine of which are assists.

Center Tage Thompson leads the first line, putting up an even five goals and five assists.

Goaltender Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen is 3-3-3 while allowing 3.56 goals per game for the Sabres.

First Pick: Leo Carlsson over 0.5 points

Rundown: The Sabres allow just 2.93 goals per game - which ranks 10th in the league. However, Luukkonen has struggled in net to start the year. Carlsson has four points in the last two games and six points in his last four.

Second Pick: Mikael Granlund over 1.5 shots

Rundown: Granlund has eight points so far this season along with two goals. In seven out of the 11 games he's played in thus far, Granlund has at-least two shots on goal.
