LOS ANGELES -- The NFL officially unveiled its Pro Bowl selections on Tuesday, and the Los Angeles Chargers, Los Angeles Rams and the Las Vegas Raiders, will have a strong presence when the 2026 Pro Bowl Games arrive in San Francisco.
As expected, quarterback Justin Herbert and safety Derwin James Jr. lead the Chargers’ group. Herbert continues to be one of the league’s top quarterbacks, while James once again demonstrated why he remains the heartbeat of the Chargers’ defense. Both were widely regarded as locks, and their selections came as little surprise. Tackle Joe Alt, who has been injured and out for weeks, will not participate. Kicker Cameron Dicker was the Chargers' fifth Pro Bowl selection this season.
What did raise some eyebrows, however, was the breakout recognition for outside linebacker Tuli Tuipulotu.
Tuipulotu was named a Pro Bowl starter for the first time in his career after putting together a dominant season off the edge. The second-year pass rusher led the Chargers and tied for third in the NFL with a career-high 13.0 sacks, emerging as a consistent disruptor and a cornerstone of the defense. While his impact has been felt all season, earning a starting nod on the Pro Bowl stage marks a major milestone for the young linebacker.
Another first-time Pro Bowler for the Chargers comes from a very different position — but an equally important one.
Kicker Cameron Dicker earned his first Pro Bowl selection.
Dicker, already known around the league as the most accurate kicker in NFL history and the Chargers’ Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Club Winner, earned his first all-star recognition as the AFC’s starting kicker. He leads all AFC kickers in 2025 with 36 made field goals, and his consistency has been a quiet but critical factor in the Chargers’ success.

Fittingly, Dicker’s path to the Pro Bowl had a bit of personality. His comedic social media campaign to rally votes caught on, resonated with fans, and ultimately helped push him into the starting spot.
The Chargers’ presence doesn’t stop there.
In addition to the five Pro Bowl selections, four more Chargers were named alternates for the 2026 Pro Bowl Games. Outside linebacker Khalil Mack, linebacker Del’Shawn Phillips as a special teamer, cornerback Donte Jackson, and fullback/defensive lineman Scott Matlock as a fullback all remain on call should roster changes occur.
For the Rams, quarterback Matthew Stafford, wide receiver Puka Nacua, and outside linebackers Jared Verse and Byron Young earned spots in the Pro Bowl.
Stafford, Nacua, and Verse were selected as starters.
For Stafford, this marks his fourth career Pro Bowl selection. Stafford has been performing like an MVP-caliber player, leading the Rams to an 11-4 record so far and leading the NFL with 4,179 passing yards and 40 passing touchdowns, with five interceptions.
As for the 2-13 Las Vegas Raiders, DE Maxx Crosby and TE Brock Bowers both earned AFC honors to the Pro Bowl for their standout performances during the 2025 season, despite the team's struggles.
This marks Crosby's fifth straight selection and Bowers' second in two years. Crosby received his fifth consecutive Pro Bowl nod, leading the Raiders with 10 sacks and ranking second in the NFL in tackles for loss (28).
For Bowers, he demonstrated strong production with 64 catches and 7 touchdowns, despite dealing with injuries, placing him alongside another great tight end who plans to possibly retire this season, Travis Kelce, on the AFC roster for the Pro Bowl.
With full rosters now set, the 2026 Pro Bowl Games will once again feature a non-contact flag football format, marking the fourth consecutive year of the revamped event. This year also brings a new wrinkle, as the Pro Bowl will be folded into Super Bowl week festivities for the first time rather than serving as a standalone event.
The game will take place on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California, just days before Super Bowl XL. For the Chargers, it’s another opportunity to showcase both their established stars and their rising talent on one of the league’s biggest stages.
