LOS ANGELES -- The USC Trojans have added the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns to their 2026 schedule and are set to face off on Sept. 12, 2026.

This will be the first time that USC and Louisiana face off, and the first time since Sept. 5, 2015, that the Trojans play a team from the Sun Belt Conference. They last faced off against the Arkansas State Red Wolves at the Coliseum, where USC came away with the win in their season opener, 55-6.

This game against the Ragin' Cajuns is just the second non-conference game for the Trojans, as they have a date to host the Fresno State Bulldogs at the Coliseum on September 5.

Louisiana finished its 2025 season on a four-game winning streak and, ultimately, a .500 winning percentage at 6-6. The Ragin' Cajuns still have one more game in their season, as they notched themselves a bowl bid, participating in the Lending Tree Bowl against the Delaware Fightin' Blue Hens.

With the addition of Louisiana, USC has its eyes set on a jampacked 2026 season, which includes home games against the Maryland Terrapins, Ohio State Buckeyes, Oregon Ducks, and Washington Huskies. They also have a tough road slate ahead, with the Indiana Hoosiers, UCLA Bruins, Penn State Nittany Lions, Rutgers Scarlet Knights, and the Wisconsin Badgers all on the horizon.
