Laguna Niguel, Calif. (November 23, 2025) – Multiple Shohei Ohtani game-used items brought big results at SCP Auctions’ 2025 Fall Premier when it closed Saturday night.
A Shohei Ohtani 2024 Dodgers game-used bat photomatched to five home runs from his 50/50 MVP season set a new auction record for any Ohtani bat when it sold for $300,000. The second home run ball he hit out of Dodger Stadium during his historic 2025 NLCS Game 4 performance took in $270,000.SCP also offered the clutch home run balls hit by the Dodgers in Game 7 of the 2025 World Series. Will Smith’s game-winning home run sold for $168,000, while Miguel Rojas’ game-tying bomb went for $156,000.
Some other significant game-used items performed admirably. Kobe’s shoes from Game 6 of the 2008 NBA Finals brought $54,000, a 1965-68 Willie Mays game-used bat went for $48,000, and a Shohei Ohtani game-used bat photomatched to two games during his first MVP season in 2021 sold for $45,000.Valuable vintage cards were also included in the sale. A beautiful 1948 George Mikan rookie graded PSA NM-MT 8 took in $120,000, a 1948 Bowman signed George Mikan sold for $36,000, and a 1935 Goudey 4-in-1 Babe Ruth graded SGC NM-MT 8 went for $26,400, a record for any SGC graded example.
A handful of historic autographed memorabilia rounded out the sale. An 1850s Louis Wadsworth cut signature — the only one known — brought $39,000. A Kobe Bryant autographed ticket from his 81-point game went for $31,200, and an Abraham Lincoln handwritten and signed letter with a PSA/DNA 10 autograph took in $21,600.
