Whether it’s been injury, title changes, or heel turns, a lot has happened in the WWE in the past month since Wrestlepalooza.
In this recap, we’ll take a look at the major developments, as well as previewing a very important upcoming few weeks for the WWE.
Restored Vision
Since May 2025, “The Vision” faction of Seth Rollins, Bronson Reed, and Bron Breakker, managed by ‘The Oracle’ has run the WWE. Often starting and ending off Monday Night Raw episodes and headlining PLE’s, this group quickly became the forefront of programming.
In a shocking turn of events, as of the October 13th episode of Raw, ‘The Vision’ has come to a resounding end. What was the reason for the attack? What led to the quick end of the group? Cleverly, it can all be summed up in this one episode of Raw.
Two nights before this On October 11th, at WWE Crown Jewel, Rollins defeated Cody Rhodes to win the Crown Jewel Championship. Going into this match, Seth was paranoid and doubting himself if he could beat Cody after three straight losses, which is why this (crooked) win meant so much. Despite the win, Seth appeared to injure his shoulder during the match after hitting a coast-to-coast headbutt.
Then Monday comes around and Seth is on cloud nine. In the opening promo of the show, Seth gloated about how he never needed anyone to reach his level of success, with Bron and Bronson standing right there. Throughout the show, there were segments of him telling them how much he appreciated them. And then at the end of the show, as the credits rolled, it happened.
Fed up with Rollins’ arrogance earlier in the night and beyond, Breakker first hit Rollins with a thunderous spear. Reed then chose to join the rebellion, hitting him with a monster ‘Tsunami’. Heyman then joined Reed and Breakker, who grabbed the World Heavyweight title, as the three stood over Rollins’ body.
A Fresh Start
This past Monday, Raw opened with GM Adam Pearce coming out to announce that because of Rollins’ injury at Crown Jewel and the beating he took the week prior, Rollins would have to relinquish the title.
Just like that, after winning the title in ‘The Ruse of the Century’ at Summerslam, Seth Rollins’ title reign has come to an end after just 79 days.
Despite its short span, this reign undoubtedly delivered, made special by the moments, whether it was the way Seth won the title, or his teaming up with Reed, Breakker and Heyman.
Pearce also announced a battle royale at the end of the night to name CM Punk’s opponent for Saturday Night’s Main Event (SNME) on November 1st, where the next World Champion will be crowned.
Fast forwarding to the main event of Raw, after an entertaining battle royale, it came down to LA Knight, ‘Dirty’ Dominic Mysterio, and Jimmy and Jey Uso. After Jimmy saved his brother, Jey repaid him by eliminating him and Knight together, before also disposing of Mysterio, punching his ticket to SNME.
Fans are upset with the decision to elevate Jey Uso to this position instead of someone like an LA Knight, but I personally want to see where they’ll take it, especially with Jey’s recent heelish behavior.
Interestingly enough, Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker were not involved in the battle royale, which makes you wonder what route WWE is going with Breakker, and how long it’ll take for him to get his hands on the title.
Everything Else
John Cena only has four dates left as a wrestler in the WWE. Two dates ago, he was questionably squashed by Brock Lesnar. He took to X after that to lobby for a match vs AJ Styles, who is also in the sunset of his career. At Crown Jewel, these two legends had an incredible classic match that Cena won, giving the fans a treat together one last time.
What’s next? Nobody knows. Maybe they revisit the Brock Lesnar storyline, or maybe it’s something completely new. Regardless, let’s all enjoy it for what it is, because after December 13th, we won’t see him anymore. We mentioned the men’s Crown Jewel Championship match, so we have to mention the women’s match as well. Newly crowned World Champion Stephanie Vaquer took on Tiffany Stratton, the WWE Women’s champion.
In an entertaining match, Vaquer defeated Stratton clean, further adding on to her amazing rookie year, and establishing her spot as the top woman on the roster.
In other news, there are some new champions on the roster.
Sami Zayn’s open challenge run came to an end after Ilja Dragunov, fresh off a year long recovery after tearing his ACL last year, returned with a bang, beating Zayn after Solo Sikoa came out to distract him.
On Raw, the Judgement Day’s collapse seems imminent, after the team lost the tag titles to AJ Styles and Dragon Lee.
Looking forward, the upcoming SNME has major potential, with a new World Heavyweight Champion being crowned, and a title match between Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre, in which we could potentially see a title change.
Even with the major injury to Rollins, things are still looking up for the WWE. They’ll pivot their plans for now, but also have a future banger of a feud between Rollins and Breakker in their back pocket
