LOS ANGELES — The Los Angeles Dodgers made a roster move ahead of their National League Division Series against the Philadelphia Phillies, replacing injured left-handed reliever Tanner Scott with rookie left-hander Justin Wrobleski, Major League Baseball announced Thursday.

MLB approved the substitution after the league’s medical director, Dr. Gary Green, confirmed Scott’s injury following a review of medical documentation submitted by the club. Under postseason rules, teams may replace an injured player with approval from the Commissioner’s Office.

Scott, who joined the Dodgers midseason and became a key part of their bullpen down the stretch, will be ineligible to return for the National League Championship Series should Los Angeles advance. However, he would be eligible to rejoin the team for the World Series if the Dodgers qualify.

Wrobleski, 23, is expected to bolster the Dodgers’ pitching depth after making his big league debut earlier this year. The former Oklahoma State standout went 2-1 with a 3.18 ERA in limited action and was among the organization’s top left-handed pitching prospects.

The Dodgers continue their best-of-five NLDS matchup with the Phillies this week. The series is being televised by TNT Sports across TBS, truTV and HBO Max, while FOX and FS1 are carrying American League Division Series games.

Spanish-language coverage of the NLDS will air on Univision networks, with Univision Radio providing national audio broadcasts. ESPN Radio will also air live coverage of every postseason game in English, while MLB Network continues its studio programming with MLB Tonight, MLB Central, MLB Now and Intentional Talk.

The 2025 MLB Postseason is being distributed to 203 countries and territories by 44 media partners in 16 languages worldwide.
