This latest call-up follows his previous selection during the September international window, where Ghana faced Chad and Mali. It comes as the 27-year-old is in exceptional form for his club.
Since returning from his previous call-up, Paintsil scored a first-half hat-trick in the Galaxy's 4-1 win over Sporting Kansas City on Sept. 27, a performance that earned him MLS Player of the Matchday honors.
Paintsil has been directly involved in 14 goals in his last 11 home matches for the Galaxy.
As a result of his international duty, Paintsil will miss the Galaxy's MLS match against FC Dallas on Oct. 11. The Galaxy travel to face FC Dallas this Saturday, Oct. 4, in their final match before the international break.
