LOS ANGELES -- The Dodgers make their first splash of trades with less than a day left before the trade deadline concludes, as they took part in a three-team trade between the Cincinnati Reds and Tampa Bay Rays.

Los Angeles received pitching prospects Adam Serinowski from the Cincinnati Reds and two players from the Tampa Bay Rays, relief pitcher Paul Gervase and catcher Ben Rortvedt.

The Rays received catcher Hunter Feduccia from the Dodgers and starting pitcher Brian Van Belle from Cincinnati. The Reds landed the main trade piece of this three-team trade by acquiring Zack Littell from Tampa Bay.

Serinowski, 21, was a 15th-round draft pick back in 2022, and in 2025, pitching for High-A Dayton, he has a 4.84 ERA across 17 starts. The left-hander was ranked 6th in the Reds' minor league system, according to Fangraphs.

Gervase, 25, is a former 12th-round draft pick by the New York Mets back in 2022. So far in 2025, he has put up some high numbers on the rubber, as in 28 appearances for the Rumble Ponies, he has posted a 3.12 ERA across 40.1 innings pitched and 68 punchouts.

Rortvedt, 27, was the last trade piece the Dodgers received, as he will most likely take on the role as depth catcher in place of the newly moved Feduccia. Rortvedt has bounced in and out of the majors for the last four years, posting a career .540 OPS in the majors, and is slated to be a free agent as of next season.

As for Feduccia, he was the Dodgers' No.3 catcher behind Will Smith and Dalton Rushing. With the amount of catcher talent Los Angeles has had, the 28-year-old catcher has only appeared in seven career MLB games, going 4-for-14 and an OBP of .412.

Feduccia has spent most of his time in 2025 with the OKC Comets, Dodgers' Triple-A affiliate, and has a batting average of .287 with nine total home runs, 51 RBIs, and a stable OPS of .858.

The Dodgers have yet to announce the trade.
