CARSON, Calif.  – The LA Galaxy will face Mexico’s Deportivo Toluca in the 2025 Michelob ULTRA Campeones Cup, an annual clash between the reigning champions of Major League Soccer and Liga MX, the club announced Monday.

The match will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 1, at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California, with kickoff set for 7:30 p.m. PT.

The game will be streamed globally on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV and broadcast in Mexico on TelevisaUnivision.

Tickets go on sale Tuesday, July 22, at 10 a.m. PT via the Galaxy’s website.

This year’s matchup marks the seventh edition of the Campeones Cup, with both leagues tied at three wins each. The LA Galaxy, fresh off their 2024 MLS Cup victory, will look to become the first California-based MLS team to claim the trophy.

Toluca, who secured their spot by defeating Club América 3-1 in the Campeón de Campeones on July 20—also held at Dignity Health Sports Park, their second time beating América in a final in 2025.

Campeones Cup has delivered memorable moments in recent years, including last year’s penalty shootout thriller, where Club América edged the Columbus Crew 5-4 after a 1-1 draw.

The Galaxy aim to bring the title back to MLS for the first time since NYCFC’s 2-0 win over Atlas FC in 2022.
