After suffering a series sweep against the Milwaukee Brewers to begin the second half of the season, the Los Angeles Dodgers look to nab their first win out of the All-Star break as they host the Minnesota Twins for a three-game set starting Monday, July 21.

TEAM PREVIEW
Dodgers: Los Angeles (58-42) are simply just trying to find their spark as a team. After their latest series in which they were swept by Milwaukee, the Dodgers have lost 10 out of their last 12 games. The pitching staff has been struggling on the mound, and the offense is sputtering every opportunity they have been issued.
Manager Dave Roberts issued a bold move ahead of Saturday's matchup as he announced that he benched the struggling Dodgers shortstop Mookie Betts. But rather than moving Betts down in the lineup, Roberts decided before the series finale on Sunday afternoon that Betts would hit in the clean-up spot for Shohei Ohtani.
Roberts stated that this move is not permanent and will change once Max Muncy returns to the team.
Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman exited Sunday afternoon's game after being hit by a pitch on his left wrist in the sixth inning. X-ray on Freeman's wrist showed up negative, and Roberts said during the post-game that they will monitor Freeman's availability ahead of the series opener against the Twins.
Some major pitching updates as both Blake Snell and Blake Treinen have completed yet another rehab assignment for OKC. Snell completed four innings of one-run ball on 58 pitches while striking out six in his start on Sunday. Treinen pitched in the same game, tossing a scoreless inning while striking out two in his fifth rehab appearance.
Twins: Minnesota (48-51) visits Chavez Ravine for the first time since 2023 and looks to bounce back after suffering a series loss against the Colorado Rockies. The Twins will salvage any sort of success they can as the calendar will soon turn to August, as they are far out from an AL Wild Card spot.
