LAS VEGAS — The Las Vegas Aces are in discussions with the WNBA to host the 2026 WNBA All-Star Game, according to multiple reports.
If finalized, the event would mark the fourth time Las Vegas has hosted the WNBA’s midseason showcase. The Aces previously hosted the game in 2019, 2021 and 2023.
Sources told the Las Vegas Review-Journal that the Aces were approached by the WNBA about hosting again and have been receptive to the idea. Talks are underway to finalize logistics and scheduling. The likely timing of the event would overlap with the NBA Summer League, which annually draws thousands of basketball fans to Las Vegas in July. It was an idea originally suggested by The Sporting Tribune's Arash Markazi, which Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James agreed with.

Las Vegas has become a central hub for major basketball events. In addition to the NBA Summer League, the city hosts the annual NBA Cup semifinals and final and is considered a top contender for NBA expansion in the coming years. Hosting the 2026 WNBA All-Star Game would further cement Las Vegas’ reputation as a premier basketball destination.
WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert is expected to announce the host city for the 2026 game during her media availability Saturday at this year’s All-Star Game in Indianapolis.
