Hainline promoted to High-A Great Lakes taken at Rancho Cucamonga (rancho cucamonga quakes)

Shortstop Elijah Hainline was promoted from Low-A Rancho Cucamonga to the High-A Great Lakes Loons.

Hainline was concretely the Quakes’ second most productive offensive player, behind only Dodgers’ #5 prospect Eduardo Quintero. While not currently ranked in the Dodgers’ system, it is perfectly reasonable to assume he could be by the end of the year if he continues his pace.

In 66 games with Rancho this season, Hainline slashed .298/.430/.421 with 4 home runs and 29 RBIs. His average ranked ninth in the Cal League, his on base percentage seventh, and his OPS ranked 11th.

Hainline, the Dodgers’ 7th round pick in 2024, played his final year of college ball at Oregon State, where he held down a middle infield with first overall pick Travis Bazzana.

Hainline made his impact felt immediately, knocking a double in his first A+ at bat and an RBI triple in the eighth inning.
