LOS ANGELES — Ethan “Boobie” Feaster, a four-star wide receiver from DeSoto, Texas and ranked No. 25 overall and third among receivers in the ESPN 2026 class, announced Friday that he has committed to USC.
Feaster, measured at 6-foot-1 and 180 pounds, reclassified from the Class of 2027 to 2026 in February, accelerating his timeline and elevating his status among the nation's elite time-frame prospects. The announcement came in a ceremony on July 4, where he chose the Trojans over finalists Alabama, LSU and Texas A&M, becoming USC’s sixth ESPN 300 recruit since May and the latest high-profile addition to coach Lincoln Riley’s top-ranked 2026 recruiting class.
Feaster, who recorded 87 catches for 1,489 yards and 23 touchdowns over the past two seasons at DeSoto High, expressed confidence in USC's offensive vision. "They're going to put me in the best position to go in the first round," he told ESPN, praising USC receivers coach Dennis Simmons, who he said “coached guys like CeeDee Lamb, Michael Crabtree and Jordan Addison."
He joins a star-studded class built around quarterback commit Jonas Williams. USC’s group also includes ESPN 300 recruits at tight end, running back and multiple wide receiver spots, continuing a trend of elite talent flocking to Southern California under Riley.
