LOS ANGELES — The Los Angeles Clippers and Atlanta Hawks are rapidly climbing the 2026 NBA Championship odds board.

Just weeks after opening at 150/1 following the NBA Finals and the season-ending injury to Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton, the Hawks are now listed at 25/1 to win the title at BetOnline.ag — a dramatic shift fueled by a flurry of offseason moves.

Atlanta has added Kristaps Porzingis, Nickeil Alexander-Walker, and Luke Kennard — three players viewed as ideal complements to All-Star guard Trae Young. Porzingis and Alexander-Walker bring defensive versatility and shooting, while Kennard is considered one of the best pure shooters in the league.

The Eastern Conference landscape appears wide open, and Atlanta’s aggressive approach has impressed both oddsmakers and league insiders.

Meanwhile, other teams have seen their odds shift significantly:

  • Denver Nuggets improved from 16/1 to 9/1 after acquiring Cam Johnson and re-signing Bruce Brown.

  • Los Angeles Clippers moved from 33/1 to 16/1 after signing Brook Lopez and re-signing James Harden.

  • Dallas Mavericks shortened from 40/1 to 28/1 after drafting Cooper Flagg and signing DeAngelo Russell.

  • Boston Celtics drifted from 16/1 to 33/1 following trades involving Jrue Holiday and Porzingis.

  • San Antonio Spurs fell from 20/1 to 40/1 amid speculation around a potential Giannis Antetokounmpo deal.

  • Indiana Pacers dropped from 16/1 to 50/1 after news that Haliburton would miss the 2025-26 season.

Longshots now include the Miami Heat (200/1), New Orleans Pelicans (250/1), and Phoenix Suns (300/1), while the Charlotte Hornets and Washington Wizards share the longest odds at 750/1.

The current title favorite is the Oklahoma City Thunder at 5/2, followed by the Houston Rockets (17/2) and a trio at 9/1 — the Cavaliers, Nuggets, and Knicks. They are followed by the Orlando Magic at 12/1, the Los Angeles Lakers at 14/1 and Clippers at 16/1.
