LAS VEGAS  -- It’s Tuesday, June 24, 2025, and after another solid day of success, we look to keep it moving. As I said yesterday, sports fans have entered the ‘ Dog Days of Summer”.  Baseball is going to be the main card of betting for a while excluding bigger WNBA games and/or premiere fight cards. With that being said, it’s another full day of MLB so let's dive right into it.

First Pick: San Diego Padres and Washington Nationals Over 8.5 Runs

Rundown: Trevor Williams is taking the mound for Washington, and he’s struggled mightily this season — sitting at 3-8 with an ERA near 6.00. The Padres have been swinging the bats well and should have no problem putting up runs against a pitcher who consistently gives up hard contact. On the other side, Washington’s offense has shown signs of life, and they could scratch out a few against an exhausted Padres bullpen. This game has all the makings of a high-scoring affair that clears the total.

Second Pick: Los Angeles Dodgers -1.5

Rundown: The Dodgers face off against the last-place Rockies, a team they’ve historically dominated — and this version of Colorado is one of the worst road teams in baseball. L.A. has one of the most complete rosters in the league, and they’ve covered the -1.5 line in 10 of their last 14 wins. With their offense clicking and a strong starter on the mound, this feels like a blowout waiting to happen. Laying the run line here is extremely favorable in a mismatch like this.

Third Pick: Los Angeles Angels and Boston Red Sox Under 8 Runs

Rundown: The Red Sox are starting Garrett Crochet, who’s quietly been one of the best arms in the league this month — posting a sub-2.00 ERA over his last five starts. He’s striking out hitters at an elite rate and consistently going deep into games. The Angels have been inconsistent at the plate, and the Red Sox have also cooled off offensively. This matchup has all the signs of a low-scoring pitcher’s duel.

Parlay of the Day: New York Yankees Moneyline and Seattle Mariners Moneyline

Rundown: The Yankees are coming off an embarrassing 6-1 loss to the Reds, but they hit the ball hard all night — just with no luck. They’ve been one of the most explosive teams in baseball this season and are due for a big bounce-back game. Meanwhile, the Mariners come in as underdogs, but they’re fresh off a big win and playing sharp, clean baseball on both sides. This parlay backs two strong clubs with the talent and motivation to cash.
