LAS VEGAS -- Monday, June 16 gives us a big night ahead. Game 5 of the NBA Finals is tonight, and it could be the one that decides it all — everything’s on the line. This series has been as back and forth as possible, and one team will be on the brink of elimination while the other is a win away from a trophy. Before tip-off, there is a full MLB slate to keep us busy before the game.

First Pick: Chet Holmgren to score 15 + Points

Rundown: Chet Holmgren has been steadily finding his rhythm on offense, and 15 points is well within his usual range when he’s involved early. He gets a lot of touches in pick-and-pop and transition spots, and OKC’s ball movement gives him clean looks. In a high-stakes Finals Game 5, expect the Thunder to rely on all their key pieces. If Holmgren gets going early, he should cruise past 15.

Second Pick: Los Angeles Dodgers and San Diego Padres under 9 Runs

Rundown: This matchup features two strong starting pitchers and two lineups that have been a bit inconsistent lately. The Dodgers and Padres both have power, but they’ve also struggled to string together runs in recent games. Petco Park is pitcher-friendly, especially at night, and both bullpens are reliable enough to shut things down late. It feels like one of those games where runs come at a premium.

Third Pick: Seattle Mariners -1.5

Rundown: The Mariners are red hot right now, especially at home, and they’ve been winning games comfortably behind strong starting pitching. With as good as Seattle has been, the clear storyline for tonight is the shocking trade of Red Sox star Rafael Devers. You can count on there being several distractions in that Boston clubhouse tonight, and all that will lead to negative outcomes.

Parlay of the Day: Oklahoma City Thunder Moneyline, Tyrese Haliburton to score 15 + Points, and Philadelphia Phillies Moneyline

Rundown: OKC has been the most consistent team in the Finals and with the home crowd behind them, they’re in a great spot to take control of the series. Halliburton has been solid and efficient — 15 points is a modest ask for someone who plays big minutes and can score in bunches. As for the Phillies, they’ve been one of the best teams in baseball and are facing a pitcher they’ve hit well in the past. All three legs are tied to teams and players in good form, and it lines up wellfor a strong payout.
