LAS VEGAS  -- It’s Monday, June 2, 2025, and while we’re all counting down the days to the Stanley Cup Final and NBA Finals, the betting board is pretty quiet outside of baseball. With no NHL or NBA games just yet, the MLB takes center stage today. Although the MLB slate is thin for today, we can still manage our way around it and take advantage of a light day.

First Pick: Los Angeles Dodgers Moneyline

Rundown: The Dodgers' money line tonight is a strong pick, especially after their recent series win against the Yankees, where they outscored them 26–7 in the first two games. With Dustin May on the mound, who has a 4.20 ERA this season, they have a solid chance against the Mets' Paul Blackburn, making his first start after returning from injury. The Dodgers have been dominant at home and are looking to continue their momentum. Given their recent performance and home-field advantage, backing the Dodgers tonight seems like a smart move.

Second Pick: Detroit Tigers -1.5

Rundown: The Tigers covering the -1.5 run line against the White Sox tonight feels like a solid bet. Detroit is riding high with a 39–21 record and has won each of their last 10 road games against the White Sox. They’re sending Jack Flaherty to the mound, who has a 3.94 ERA this season and a 2.57 ERA in his career against Chicago. On the other side, the White Sox are 18–41 and have lost three straight, with Jonathan Cannon starting—he’s 2–6 with a 4.15 ERA and has struggled against Detroit in the past. With the Tigers being as strong as they are, and the White Sox putting up yet another miserable season. Detroit -1.5 at -122 is a fantastic bet.

Third Pick: Miami Marlins and Colorado Rockies Over 8 Runs

Rundown: The over 8 runs in tonight’s Rockies vs. Marlins game looks like a smart play. Colorado’s German Márquez comes in with a 7.13 ERA, and Miami’s Max Meyer isn’t much sharper at 4.53. Both teams have been involved in high-scoring games lately, and with the Rockies' pitching struggles, runs could pile up quickly. Add in Miami's hitters like Agustín Ramírez and Kyle Stowers swinging the bat well, and this matchup has all the makings of a game that goes over the total.

Parlay of the Day: Boston Red Sox Moneyline and Luis Arraez 2+ Bases

Rundown: This parlay lines up nicely. The Red Sox have been finding their rhythm lately, especially at home, and they’ve got a great shot to keep it rolling today. Luis Arraez has been raking, with multiple hits in five of his last seven games, and he’s always a threat to stretch singles into doubles. Pairing Boston’s momentum with Arraez’s consistency gives this parlay a great shot of hitting.
