Clippers use second half surge to beat Grizzlies for 8th straight home win taken at Intuit Dome (Los Angeles Clippers)

Los Angeles Clippers guard Bogdan Bogdanović (10) attacks the basket in an NBA game against the Memphis Grizzlies, Friday March 21, 2025 in Inglewood, Calif.

INGLEWOOD, Calif. - Stop me if anyone has heard this before: James Harden led the Clippers to a huge win. Harden's 30 points and 9 assists on 5-10 from three gave the Clippers the sweep of the Memphis Grizzlies with a 120-108 victory.

The Clippers shot 57.7% from three overall including 3 from Kris Dunn, who attempted a career-high 7 three-pointers.

Norman Powell looked more like the All-Star caliber Norm that fans know and love on Friday night. Powell poured in 14 points on 4-for-8 from the field and was a +20 in his 27 restricted minutes.

The Clippers have now won 9 out of their last 10 games and have notched 5 wins in a row. Not only that, but they are 10 games above .500 for the first time all season.

The Grizzlies were playing without Ja Morant, but got Desmond Bane back with Jaren Jackson Jr. Memphis is now 7-9 in their last 16 games and now only have a two game lead in the loss column to the Clippers.

Ivica Zubac was taken out of the game early but came on strong in the second half, finishing with another double-double at 17 points and 10 rebounds.

When this Clipper team clicks (and they are doing it at the right time), they are a very dangerous team to play. Spearheading this stretch is the play of the stars, but also the acquisitions the Clippers made at the trade deadline. Ben Simmons' stats won't pop out on a stat sheet but his defense has been great and his passing ability to very good.

But the main story has been Bogdan Bogdanovic, who score 16 points on 4-for-5 from three and 6-for-9 overall. Bogdanovic's ability to handle the ball, create off of a pick and roll and be as mendable as possible though the many lineups he is out there with, makes him an insane asset.

He, Harden and Zubac have already developed great chemistry, and Bogdanovic is now in closing lineups next to the stars of the team.

When the Clippers can score with you and also defend at a very high level, it completely changes their outlook.

Even with their current streak, they are still in the Play-In Tournament, but this recent stretch proves they can be a tough out in a playoff series should they get there.

Now, they face another huge test, as they take on the best team in the Western Conference, the Thunder.

Tipoff at Intuit Dome against Oklahoma City is at 6:00 PM PST on Sunday.
