INGLEWOOD, Calif - The atmosphere at Intuit Dome felt like a playoff game. Kawhi Leonard took the ball at the top of the arc and it felt like time stopped. Then, he made his move to the left, and put up an off hand drop shot that hit the rim a few times and dropped through as the buzzer went off.

The Clippers mobbed Leonard as the stadium erupted and the team walked away with a 111-110 victory over the Sacramento Kings in overtime on Sunday night.

Everything down the stretch in both the 4th quarter and overtime was a back and forth battle between Demar Derozan, Zach Lavine, James Harden, Ivica Zubac and Kawhi Leonard.

Derozan finished with 31 points, Lavine had 30 of his own as well, and the Kings still came up short, dropping them to the 9 seed and propelling the Clippers to the 8 seed.

Every Clipper starter was in double figures, with Harden scoring 29 points and finishing one rebound shy of a triple double. Ivica Zubac was a +3 with 22 points and 14 rebounds, continuing his dominant stretch down low.

Derrick Jones Jr. was the unsung hero for the Clippers on Sunday night, scoring 17 points and having the highest plus-minus at +8.

With so many seeding implications and tiebreaker scenarios, the Clippers improving to 35-29, winning three games in a row and being 1 game behind the Timberwolves is crucial, which makes the magnitude of Kawhi's shot so massive.

Now, the Clippers will go on the road for the rest of the week and play the Pelicans on Tuesday. Tipoff is set for 5:00 PM PST.
