CHICAGO — The Clippers end their three-game losing skid as they knock off the Chicago Bulls in a high scoring affair 122-117 on Wednesday night. Los Angeles play well tonight offensively after Monday night’s struggles. The Clippers are now 32-26 after the win and will head back to Los Angeles for back-to-back road games against the Lakers.

Here are some takeaways from the Clippers win over the Bulls:

Leonard return help Clips end skid

Kawhi Leonard returned to the Clippers lineup after missing back-to-back games because of a sore left foot.

Leonard scored 17 points added eight rebounds as Los Angeles ended their three-game skid.

The Clippers are truly at their best when Leonard is available especially with the absence of the team’s leading scorer Norman Powell who is out with left patellar tendinopathy.

The two-time champion will have to be available and play well like he did tonight to keep the Clippers picking up wins.

Harden is money from downtown

James Harden had a complete bounce back game in tonight’s win over the Chicago Bulls.

The All Star guard scored 30 points adding six rebounds. Harden scored 20 of his 30 points in the third quarter.

Harden struggled last game against the Detroit Pistons from deep shooting just 3-for-11. In tonight’s win, Harden made seven of 14 3s.

Harden hasn’t been the most efficient player for the Clippers but he is someone the team can count on to knock down a 3. He makes 2.9 3-pointers a game.

Three bench players excel in the win

The Clippers needed all hands on deck in this big-scoring affair with the Bulls and got that much needed help from the bench.

Amir Coffey scored 20 points in 27 minutes for Los Angeles. Coffey was the second-leading scorer.

Bogdan Bogdanovic had a bounce back game himself after struggling on Monday night. He finished with 14 points while shooting 5-for-7 from the field and six assists. Bogdanovic shot 4-for-5 from 3.

Ben Simmons showed his impact on defense and his all around play on offense. He stuffed the stat sheet with six points, eight rebounds, eight assists and added a steal & block.

Clippers depth will have to prove itself as the team deals with injuries and tonight it did that.
