INDIANAPOLIS -- Stephanie McMahon, fresh off the announcement of her new ESPN show, kicks off the Royal Rumble.
She thanks the fans for making it the biggest Royal Rumble match in history and starts the show with fireworks, exclaiming, “Welcome to the 2025 Royal Rumble!”
Women’s Royal Rumble Match
First entrant: IYO Sky
Second entrant: Liv Morgan
Third entrant: Roxanne Perez
Fourth entrant: Women’s Intercontinental Champion Lyra Valkyria
Fifth entrant: Women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green
Sixth entrant: B-Fab
Seventh entrant: Ivy Nile
Eighth entrant: Zoey Stark
Ninth entrant: Lash Legend
Chelsea Green eliminates her rival B-Fab for the first elimination.
Tenth entrant: Bianca Belair – She showcases her athleticism and strength, taking out the field.
Eleventh entrant: Shayna Baszler – Two-thirds of the Pure Fusion Collective are now in the ring.
Nile throws Valkyria over the top rope.
Twelfth entrant: Bayley – She immediately goes after Perez. Former Damage CTRL members Sky and Bayley have a staredown, but it gets interrupted by the Pure Fusion Collective.
Thirteenth entrant: Sonya Deville – All of the Pure Fusion Collective is now in the ring, teaming up against everyone.
Fourteenth entrant: Maxxine Dupri – Nile immediately challenges Dupri, and they brawl until Dupri hits the reverse worm on Nile and eliminates her. PFC then dumps Dupri over the top rope.
Fifteenth entrant: Naomi – The tag team champions are now both in the ring.
The tag champs, Bayley, and Sky team up to eliminate PFC all at once.
Sixteenth entrant: Jaida Parker
Parker, Legend, Belair, and Naomi join in the middle of the ring, but Green gets in the middle of it. Legend accidentally takes out Parker. Green then eliminates Legend and gets confronted by the champs until...
Seventeenth entrant: Piper Niven
Green’s secret service takes out everybody, including the champs. But then, she accidentally knocks Green off the apron, eliminating her partner.
Eighteenth entrant: Natalya
Nineteenth entrant: Jordynne Grace, making her debut as an official WWE wrestler, lays waste to the field and eliminates Parker, then hits a Death Valley Driver on Niven.
Twentieth entrant: “Michin” Mia Yim – Recent enemies Niven and Yim go at it.
Twenty-first entrant: Alexa Bliss – The crowd erupts for the returning superstar, with commentators exclaiming, "I thought she wasn’t coming back!" She soaks it all in as the crowd chants "Welcome back!"
Twenty-second entrant: Zelina Vega
Twenty-third entrant: Candice LeRae
Twenty-fourth entrant: Stephanie Vaquer – She wipes down the field.
Twenty-fifth entrant: Hall of Famer Trish Stratus – She proves she’s still got it, taking out her old rival Natalya.
Twenty-sixth entrant: Raquel Rodriguez – Morgan finally has an ally in the field. They double-team Natalya and eliminate her.
Bliss tries to take them out while they are distracted, but the numbers are too much, and Bliss gets eliminated.
Twenty-seventh entrant: Charlotte Flair – The returning Queen receives a huge ovation and fireworks. Stepping into the ring for the first time since December 2023, she shows why she is The Queen with Flair chops for everyone. Then, she eliminates Yim and hoists Niven over the ropes as well.
Twenty-eighth entrant: NXT Women’s Champion Giulia – International stars Sky and Giulia square off. Giulia eliminates Grace.
NXT squares off against current WWE stars as Perez, Giulia, and Vaquer fight Bayley, Belair, and Charlotte.
Twenty-ninth entrant: Nia Jax – She eliminates Vega before she even gets in the ring.
Stratus attempts to eliminate Jax and almost succeeds, but LeRae interferes, causing Jax to eliminate Stratus.
Thirtieth entrant: Nikki Bella – The returning legend steps into the ring for the first time in three years.
Sky and Morgan set a new record for the longest Rumble performance at over an hour and four minutes.
A brawl breaks out on the apron and ropes, but Nia Jax comes in and eliminates all five women.
Perez eliminates the woman who beat her for the NXT Women's Championship, Giulia.
Bella eliminates Bayley but is immediately eliminated by Jax.
The final three are Jax, Perez, and Charlotte.
Charlotte dumps Jax over the ropes while Roxanne is on the apron.
Perez sets the record for longest time in the Rumble with 67 minutes and 49 seconds but gets eliminated by a big boot from Charlotte.
Charlotte Flair wins the Women’s Royal Rumble, becoming the first-ever woman to win two Royal Rumbles.
WWE Tag Team Championship Match: #DIY vs. Motor City Machine Guns
The match starts off fast-paced, with MCMG in control. Under five minutes in, #DIY makes a secret tag and scores the first fall because Alex Shelley thought Gargano was legal when Ciampa actually was.
#DIY keeps cheating, leading them to hit a Shatter Machine.
MCMG regains control, moving fast and hitting double-team moves. Ciampa gets taken out, and MCMG lands Skull and Bones for their first fall.
Ciampa starts hitting his finishers, Fairy Tale Ending and Project Ciampa, but Chris Sabin still kicks out. Both teams go back and forth until MCMG sets up to finish the match.
Suddenly, Montez Ford shows up and causes a distraction. Then, Angelo Dawkins cracks Shelley with a crutch, leading to Meet in the Middle from #DIY to score the third and final fall.
Post-match, the Street Profits attack #DIY and hold the titles above their heads, staking their claim for the next title match.
WWE Championship Ladder Match: Cody Rhodes vs. Kevin Owens
The match starts with the crowd going crazy as the two size each other up before breaking into a brawl.
Owens makes the first use of the ladder, slamming Rhodes through a piece holding it together. Then, he uses the broken piece as a weapon. The match spills into the crowd.
Owens sets up a ladder bridge between the ring and announce table. They batter each other with a tiny ladder. Owens controls the match using ladders, but Rhodes turns it around with a suplex onto one.
Owens and Rhodes trade vicious ladder moves—Rhodes lands a back body drop on Owens onto one, while Owens delivers a powerbomb into one in the corner.
A ladder is propped up between another ladder in the ring and the ropes. Owens lands an avalanche Fisherman Buster on top of it.
Both men are down, and officials check on them. Then, Sami Zayn runs out and does the same.
After a Cross Rhodes, Cody goes full Homelander mode on Owens, even busting him open. Owens stops the assault with a low blow and looks to deliver a Package Piledriver on the announce table. Rhodes reverses it into an Alabama Slam off the announce table through the ladder.
With Owens down, Rhodes climbs the ladder and retrieves both the WWE Championship and the Winged Eagle Championship to retain his title.
Officials and Zayn check on a bloody Owens in the carnage of broken ladders.
Men’s Royal Rumble Match
First entrant: Rey Mysterio
Second entrant: Penta
The Rumble starts with the greatest luchador ever and WWE’s next big luchador. They shake hands and then go at it with high-flying action. Rey almost eliminates Penta, but only one foot hits the floor.
Third entrant: Chad Gable
Fourth entrant: Carmelo Hayes – who teams up with Gable.
Fifth entrant: Santos Escobar – The Emperor of Lucha Libre goes after the baby-faced luchadors and lands a 619 and a Canadian Destroyer.
Sixth entrant: Otis – Old rivals Otis and Gable fight in the center of the ring.
Seventh entrant: Men’s Intercontinental Champion, Bron Breakker – Old NXT foes are renewed as Breakker spears and eliminates Hayes right away. He delivers more spears to the field and throws Escobar over the top.
Eighth entrant: Akira Tozawa – who gets attacked by Hayes on the entrance ramp. They determine he can’t compete, and IShowSpeed takes his spot and eliminates Otis!
He does a "SUI" celebration and backflip, then gets torn in half with a spear from Breakker, leading to his quick elimination.
Ninth entrant: Sheamus
Tenth entrant: Jimmy Uso
Eleventh entrant: Andrade
Twelfth entrant:Jacob Fatu – The Samoan Werewolf dominates every competitor in the ring, including a double Samoan Drop on Penta and Mysterio. Right after, he eliminates Mysterio, Gable, and Andrade.
Thirteenth entrant: Ludwig Kaiser – In no rush to get in the ring, he bides his time and waits at ringside. He tries to sneak up on Penta and eliminate him, but Penta turns it around and eliminates him in under five seconds.
Fourteenth entrant: The Miz
Fifteenth entrant: TNA World Champion Joe Hendry – The WWE Universe believes in Joe Hendry, singing his song and chanting his name. He shows what TNA is all about until he gets sat down by Fatu.
Sixteenth entrant: Roman Reigns – For the first time in five years, the Tribal Chief enters the Rumble. Right out of the gate, he spears and eliminates The Miz, Sheamus, and Hendry.
The Head of the Table stares down Breakker, who cuts Reigns in half with a spear of his own. He tries to eliminate Reigns, but Reigns reverses it and eliminates Breakker instead.
Fatu eliminates Jimmy Uso, setting up a face-off between the current Tribal Chief and a potential future one. Fatu has the advantage until Reigns flies into him with a spear.
Seventeenth entrant: Drew McIntyre – The former rivals engage in a slugfest, but then Fatu teams up with McIntyre to take down Reigns.
Eighteenth entrant: Finn Bálor.
Nineteenth entrant: United States Champion, Shinsuke Nakamura.
Penta hits a Canadian Destroyer on Fatu and then charges at Bálor, who throws him over his head for an elimination.
Twentieth entrant: Jey Uso – Uso goes deep into his playbook, hitting a Poison Rana on Fatu. Just like Bálor did to Penta, Uso puts Nakamura over his head for an elimination.
Twenty-first entrant: AJ Styles – The Phenomenal One returns ahead of schedule from his injury. Showing no ring rust, he takes it to everyone he sees.
Twenty-second entrant: Braun Strowman – Right away, he goes after Fatu, who caved in his head. Somehow, he gets him over his head and out of the ring.
Twenty-third entrant: John Cena –The farewell tour starts off hot as Cena eliminates Bálor and Strowman.
Twenty-fourth entrant: CM Punk – The Best in the World, the OG, and the leader of the Cenation stand in a stalemate.
Twenty-fifth entrant: Seth Rollins – Rollins enters the ring with his two most hated rivals. He chooses to go after Punk instead of Reigns.
Twenty-sixth entrant: Dominik Mysterio.
Twenty-seventh entrant: Sami Zayn
Twenty-eighth entrant: Damian Priest – He renews his rivalry with Judgment Day’s Dominik Mysterio and eliminates him.
Twenty-ninth entrant: LA Knight
Uso attempts a superkick on McIntyre but accidentally hits Zayn, eliminating his friend.
Thirtieth entrant: Logan Paul.
In the midst of chaos, Priest eliminates McIntyre.
Knight tries to take out Paul, but Paul jumps from the apron to the announce table to stay alive.
Knight clotheslines Priest over the ropes.
Styles tosses Knight over the turnbuckle.
Styles looks for a Phenomenal Forearm, but Paul jumps back into the ring and takes him out from behind.
The last six men are Cena, Rollins, Uso, Reigns, Punk, and Paul.
Reigns and Rollins lay waste to the field until only the two of them remain standing. They mouth off at each other before going at it. They go back and forth, both looking for finishers and eliminations, but they are too evenly matched.
As they struggle at the ropes, Punk takes advantage and eliminates both of them—only for Paul to do the same to Punk!
Rollins, Reigns, and Punk start a huge brawl on the outside. Rollins goes after Heyman and stomps Reigns on the steel steps.
The final three are Cena, Uso, and Paul.
Cena throws both into the corner and lifts them onto his shoulders for a double elimination. They both slip off, Uso superkicks Paul, and Cena clotheslines him out of the ring.
The final two are Uso and Cena.
Cena hits the Five Moves of Doom, but Uso escapes the Attitude Adjustment and looks for the elimination. They run the ropes, and Uso intercepts Cena with a spear. The two battle for eliminations and end up on the apron.
Cena lifts Uso for an AA, but Uso slips off and pushes him off the apron to the floor.
Cena’s record-tying Rumble win and his chance to break Ric Flair’s world championship record goes up in smoke.
It’s not just a nickname anymore. Main Event Jey Uso wins the Men’s Royal Rumble and will main event WrestleMania. The show ends with Uso Yeeting with the whole stadium.
