SAN FRANCISCO –– Austin Reaves scored a game-winning layup with one second remaining to lead the Los Angeles Lakers (17-13) to a 115-113 Christmas victory over the Golden State Warriors (15-14) Wednesday before 18,064 at the Chase Center.
After Golden State's Steph Curry hit a pair of three-pointers to tie the game 113-113 with four seconds in the game, Reaves drove past Andrew Wiggins before nailing a scoop layup. The Lakers won their first game on Christmas since 2018.
Reaves' 26 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists triple-double kept the Lakers afloat after losing Anthony Davis to an ankle injury in the first quarter.
Los Angeles carried a 55-52 lead into the half.
